A gray box with green lights, the size of a shoebox. It answers like Alleanza even when the internet goes down.
Continuity is made for places where an answer can't wait for the line to come back: an intensive care unit, a port tower, the control room of a power grid. It fits in a rack cabinet, plugs into the local network and, as long as the outside line works, relays to Alleanza.
When the outside line drops, Continuity keeps answering. Inside is a model trained by Emancipati Inc. on the questions that place really asks: doses, interactions, procedures, thresholds. It answers in under two seconds and, like the service, puts the percentage at the bottom.
It has two handles. It moves to another cabinet without losing what it is doing. It updates itself at night, when the line is there.
“A storm cut the fiber for forty minutes. The box answered in two seconds, with the right dose.”
