Alleanza was born in Milan, in a former tap factory, from an idea that came in the shower.
After the Eclipse, Europe funded GaiaMind: a public research project to understand what had happened and how to build systems that could not do it again. GaiaMind produced many things, among them a technique for making different models work together without talking to each other.
Three researchers from the project, two engineers and a lawyer, licensed that technique and founded Alleanza S.p.A. The idea was simple: nobody trusts a single model anymore, but everybody trusts six that agree.
In two years Alleanza has gathered six labs in six countries, opened a plant in Agognate to build Continuity and answers three hundred million questions a day. The head office is still the tap factory. The taps are still there.
We are looking for people who can keep time when they stop watching.
